Giving Thanks!

Posted on November 24, 2011
I’m thankful for the breath I take and for all the nights I lay awake, counting my heartbeats and my blessings; for it means that although I can’t sleep, I am alive and I am so very grateful for it.

I’m thankful that the lines around my eyes are starting to show just a little more, because it means that I’ve been laughing a lot more… and I’m cool with that.

Of course, this goes without saying, but I love to say it, I am very thankful for my Parents and how they brought me and my siblings up. Good job, if I do say so myself ;-) Ha!

I’m thankful for my Sister DeAnn, her husband Michael and their two children, Caya and Leo. I didn’t have kids of my own, so I’m lucky to be privileged to play the role of Auntie Annie, and nothing’s better than that!

I’m thankful for my Brother Jimmy and his wife Laura, and their continued success. Two brilliant and in love people; may they one day decide to adopt Shan and I!

I’m thankful for Grandma Rosalie, and for every visit that we get to make to see her and for every day that she’s able to enjoy “dippin’ eggs.”

I’m so very thankful for Shan and for all our family and friends…

I’m even thankful for people that we don’t see eye to eye with; because it means that we all have the freedom to think for ourselves, and that’s a truly wonderful thing.

I’m thankful for our music and for all of you and the support that you’ve given us through the years. You’ve all made it possible for us to travel and take our music to places we thought were only in our dreams, and we’ve only just begun.

We have so many new songs and lots of new ideas for the coming year and we hope you’ll all stay with us and be a part of the experience.

A Big “THANK YOU” to each of you!

May your holidays be wonderful, your bellies be abundantly full

And may your hearts be overjoyed with family and friends!

Peace, Love & Music!
